February 8, 2010

For those of you who are signed on to get a text from our A-site when we have a calamity day or delayed start and you are experiencing some delay in receiving the text, here is the problem.

Apparently AT&T is excluding some of our texts messages because there are too many texts at one time. There are many school districts using this alert service. NOACSC, our A-site, is looking into this problem with AT&T personnel to alleviate this problem.

St Henry Consolidated Local School is a public school located in the village of St.Henry, a rural community of about 2,300 residents located in west-central Ohio. Enrollment is currently about 1,100 students in grades K-12.

Paper: Newspaper, Junk Mail, Magazines, and Catalogs (Please have plastic bags and hardback covers removed)
Plastic: #1 and #2 only - absolutely no styrofoam or pvc
Cardboard: please flatten
Glass: Clear, Brown, or Green bottles (please rinse & remove lids) - Absolutely NO window glass, light bulbs, or treated glass
Aluminum: cans only

*** All proceeds will be donated to the Children's Medical Center of Dayton

The recycling trailer will be staffed for a Community Recycling Day this Saturday, Feb 13 from 9 am - 12 noon. Trailer is located in the parking lot northwest of the Middle School.
